Brian covers the Energy Department and White House for E&E News. Before joining the company, Brian reported for National Journal and Bloomberg BNA in Washington D.C. Prior to that, he worked for Egypt Independent in Cairo and freelanced throughout East and North Africa. He holds a master’s in journalism degree from Georgetown University and a bachelor’s in political science from Western Colorado University.
